1. Principle
Costa Guest is designed so that commercial relationships cannot silently replace organic relevance, editorial quality or safety. Paid and affiliate elements must be distinguishable from first-party editorial/discovery content where their commercial nature matters to the user.
2. Affiliate links
Costa Guest may receive commission when a user follows a clearly attributable link and completes a qualifying transaction with a third party. The user should not pay more merely because the link is attributable unless the provider clearly states otherwise. The third party controls the booking/purchase contract.
3. Business plans and featured placements
A business may pay for plan capabilities or an expressly identified promotional/featured placement. Payment does not guarantee organic ranking, positive editorial treatment or exemption from verification, freshness, moderation or safety rules.
4. Recommendation integrity
Organic ranking and recommendation logic may consider relevance, destination/context fit, quality, freshness and safety evidence. Provider commission or payout must not be used to override the organic relevance layer.
