Benalmádena is easier to enjoy once you distinguish its three main settings. Benalmádena Pueblo is known for whitewashed streets, plazas and Mediterranean viewpoints. Arroyo de la Miel is a useful base for everyday amenities and transport connections. Benalmádena Costa brings together waterfront promenades, beaches and Puerto Marina. Recognisable stops include Parque de la Paloma, Sea Life and the marina waterfront. In the hilltop village, Jardines del Muro and Plaza de España make a pleasant short walk.
